The Vekamotion 82 standard version profiles have a heat transfer coefficient of Uf=1.4 W/m²K. VEKAMOTION 82 in a design with external dimensions of 350 x 230 cm, with a 54 mm thick glazing unit with Ug=0.5 W/m²K and a glazing spacer Psi of 0.031, achieves Uw=0.78 W/m²K.
The system is available in two versions: Vekamotion 82 and Vekamotion 82 with aluminium cover. It is characterised by excellent energy efficiency thanks to its multi-chamber profiles, as well as a threshold with very good thermal insulation, which is made of PVC material that is warmer than aluminium. This means that the floor by the door is not cold!
The closed profile, with an outer wall thickness of 3 mm (with a maximum deviation of only +/- 0.2 mm), meets the requirements of EN 12608, which are imposed on the highest quality profiles. In the sash of a window in the HST system, there must first of all be adequate, solid reinforcement and in this case it is not the number of chambers that is most important, but the static parameters of the sash.
The Vekamotion 82 system uses VEKA profiles with a depth of 82 mm, which have been proven for years. The system uses the same glazing beads as in classic windows, so that all the windows in the house have a uniform appearance. The threshold and sash assembly in the standard version has a section height of 152 mm, while the frame and sash yield a total dimension of 163 mm. Importantly, the aim is to hide the threshold in the floor as much as possible.
The Vekamotion 82 lift and slide door system uses multi-chamber cover strips to conceal the screw connections after installation. This makes the surfaces completely smooth, even without the use of plugs. The Vekamotion 82 lift and slide door system provides a panoramic view of the home's surroundings, which is important in contemporary architecture that focuses on integrating the house's interior with the garden.
The profiles are white as standard, but can be made in another colour from a wide range on request. Finishes mimicking the texture of wood are also available, as well as aluminium covers that can be powder-coated in any colour. SPECTRAL profiles are also available.
