RAS
Adaptation roller shutters are based on a roller shutter box made of aluminium, mounted on aluminium guides, usually fixed to the wall or to the window frame. Service access to the inside of the box is provided by a movable inspection flap, always located outside the room. The roller shutter box is not insulated with a thermal insert and is not visible from inside the room. The shutter curtain is visible from the outside with the concave part the opposite way as in the case of the built-on roller shutters (with the exception of the RAS version, which is inverted into a recess).
The roller shutters are available both without and with a mosquito net (in the version with a mosquito net, note that it occupies a significant part of the box, reducing the effective height of the curtain).
The Standard Adaptation Roller Shutters (RAS) are the most popular variant of adaptation roller shutters equipped with a 45º bent inspection flap, opening from the outside, from the front of the box.
For this reason, it cannot be plastered over - the box is completely visible from the outside after installation. This variant provides the largest roller shutters.
The RAS variant is available in six heights 125 mm, 137 mm, 150 mm, 165 mm, 180 mm and 205 mm, of which the 150 mm, 165 mm, 180 mm and 205 mm boxes are also available with a rolling mosquito net. The roller shutter drive output is possible at the three locations A, B and C indicated in the drawings below, depending on the type of installation adopted. The height of the roller shutter H is equal to the depth of the roller shutter B.
