MB-Slide ST system

MB-Slide, MB-Slide ST - sliding windows and doors

The systems are used to make sliding doors and windows with thermal insulation which may be  incorporated into brick walls, aluminium façades, winter gardens or shop windows made of MB-59S or MB-59S Casement elements. Sliding doors, especially the large-sized ones, visually "enlarge" the living space by joining it with an external terrace or a garden.

MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST sliding door systems allow broad possibilities of arrangement: maximum size of leaves is: H: 2600 mm, L: 1800 mm, max. weight:  160 kg, various development variants available: from 2 to 6 modules. They are suitable to apply glazing units with thickness up to 26 mm. The structures also ensure maintaining very good technical parameters: plastic thermal separators provide proper thermal insulation to aluminium profiles, while sliding gaskets in the form of brushes or made of thermoplastic elastomer TPE, and glass and cover gaskets with EPDM ensure excellent tightness.

Construction depth of sash/leaf sections is 37 mm (apart from horizontal sections in MB-Slide ST), and of frames is, respectively: 50 mm (double track rails) and 97 mm (triple track rails). Identical depth of basic two-rail frames of the MB-Slide system and window and door frames of the MB-59S, MB-59S Casement, MB-59S Pivot and MB-59SE systems allows direct connection of products made of these systems. Frames with depths other than 50mm may be connected with each other with the use of a special reinforced intermediate pole.

The MB-Slide system

The main differences between MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems are: the construction of sash/leaf sections and the production and glazing technology. In MB-Slide, sash/leaf profiles have a three-chamber structure, are cut at the angle of 45 degrees and connected together with fitting corners. The corners are then pressed. The sash/leaf frame is then glazed with the use of glazing beads and glass gaskets. In MB-Slide ST, sash/leaf profiles have one chamber, and are connected together by screwing vertical profiles to horizontal profiles with appropriate screws. In this case, glass panes are fixed at the stage of connecting sash/leaf sections.

Both systems of sliding doors are largely compatible with other ALUPROF S.A. systems. Assuming such a solution allowed the use of a number of shared sections, accessories and technological processes. All sliding door system components are manufactured in compliance with applicable standards.
